Who writes
Blog articles are signed. Each text carries the name of the practitioner who wrote it, along with their professional order: the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec for the acupuncturists, the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec for the physiotherapist. A link leads to each person’s profile, where their training and practice are presented.
A few posts are signed by the clinic itself: those are collective notes, and they’re presented as such.

The sources
When an article draws on research, the source is cited. We reference studies by their PubMed identifier, the public registry of biomedical literature, so you can find the original text and read it for yourself.
Notions from traditional Chinese medicine are presented as what they are: a reading that comes from a tradition, distinct from current biomedical knowledge. When a text draws on clinical experience, it says so, without generalizing from it. And when the research is uncertain, we write that too.

The professional code
What an acupuncturist in Québec may publish is governed by the profession’s code of ethics. In practice, on this site: no promised results, no patient testimonials, no superlatives about the quality of care. Every public-facing page is reread with that code in mind before it goes live.
