Every situation is assessed individually, with no promise of results: here are the reasons that most often bring people through our door.
Pain and injuries
Back, neck, shoulders, tendinitis: sports-related, postural or work-related.
Stress and anxiety
When tension settles in and spills over into daily life, sleep, digestion.
Sleep
Difficulty falling asleep, waking during the night, fatigue that persists on waking.
Cosmetic acupuncture
A whole-person approach to the face, with no injection and no product.

75 to 90 minutes, for your story alone
01The conversation
We take the time: your history, your background, what brings you here, and what you would like to find again.
02The assessment
A Chinese medicine assessment and a physical examination: observation, palpation, taking the pulses.
03The treatment
Very fine needles, placed with precision, then a period of rest. We close by discussing the follow-up envisaged, with no commitment.
First visit: 75 to 90 minutes depending on the practitioner. Follow-up sessions: 60 to 70 minutes depending on the practitioner. Insurance receipts issued on site, treatments exempt from taxes.

Before booking
Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles used are very fine, nothing like an injection needle. The sensation is generally light and brief, and every step is explained before it is taken.
Are sessions covered by my insurance?
An official receipt is given to you on site after each session, for acupuncture as well as physiotherapy. Most group insurance plans accept them (check your contract), and they are often deductible as medical expenses. Treatments are exempt from taxes.
How many sessions should I plan for?
It varies with the situation, how long it has been going on and your response to treatment. A plan is discussed at the first appointment and reassessed along the way, with no commitment.
Do you accept CNESST and SAAQ files?
Yes. CNESST files are handled by Jessica; SAAQ files, by Justin and Jessica. Bring your file number to the first visit; we take care of the billing.
How do I get to the clinic by metro?
Get off at Laurier station (orange line), then walk a few minutes east along boulevard Saint-Joseph. The clinic is at 1160, Suite #103.
How does booking work?
Online through Jane, choosing your practitioner and the time that suits you, or by phone at +1 (514) 974-1732 if you would rather talk to us first.
